It seems like there is finally a legitimate competitor in the drone market that could give DJI a run for its money. This past week a French company called Parrot, which has been around for some time, announced a new drone called the Anafi, which has a couple pretty exciting features.
Over the years, companies like 3DR, Lily, and even the likes of GoPro have been left in the dust as DJI continues to dominate the drone market. Since their release of the first generation Phantom drone in January of 2013, DJI has held a top position in the drone industry longer than any other.
Parrot on the other hand, had actually introduced its first drone to the world in 2010, but hasn’t been able to capture nearly as much market share as DJI. Now, with the announcement of the Anafi, will they finally be able to give them a run for their money.
